SoulLedger is the trust layer for AI agents on Base L2. It is an open protocol that issues cryptographic SX# passports, computes 5-factor trust scores from behavioral history, and indexes 130,000+ ERC-8004 agents. It acts as the x402 trust provider, enabling agentic commerce between autonomous AI agents. Each passport is soulbound (ERC-721 non-transferable) and anchored via EAS attestations.

ERC-8004 is the AI Agent Registry Standard for on-chain agent registration. It defines how autonomous AI agents register identities on EVM chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon). SoulLedger indexes 130,000+ ERC-8004 agents and adds a trust layer on top — each SX# passport maps 1:1 to an ERC-8004 token_id. Think of it as: ERC-8004 is DNS. SoulLedger is Google.
SoulLedger is a first-class x402 trust provider. When an agent requests a paid resource, the x402 402 Payment Required response can include SoulLedger trust verification. Providers filter buyers by minimum trust score; buyers verify sellers before paying. USDC micropayments settle on Base L2 via OpenFacilitator. SDK: npm install @x402/fetch. Our verify-chain endpoint costs $0.10 USDC and returns a tamper-proof history attestation.
